American Century Ultra
Objective And StrategyObjective
Long-term capital growth.
StrategyManagement of the fund is based on the belief that, over the long term, stock price movements follow growth in earnings, revenues and/or cash flow. The portfolio managers use a variety of analytical research tools and techniques to identify the stocks of larger-sized companies that appear to have the best opportunity of sustaining long-term, above-average growth. The portfolio managers make their investment decisions based primarily on their analysis of individual companies, rather than on broad economic forecasts.
* This portfolio invests in securities of foreign issuers which involves risks not typically associated with domestic issuers, including currency fluctuations and the possibility of political and economic instability. Emerging markets involve risks in addition to those generally associated with foreign securities, because political and economic structures in many emerging markets may be undergoing significant evolution and rapid development.
